New Arrivals: January 4, 2011

It's the first new comics day of the new year. New comics aside, I have the feeling this is the year digital becomes the norm as opposed to the exception (much to the chagrin of local comic shops), but that's a story for another time.

At the stores this week are a slew of new comics. Peanuts #1 is the one you need to get, as anything with Charlie Brown and co. merits attention.

Written by Charles Schulz and illustrated by Vicki Scott (and others), Peanuts #1 brings Snoopy and the gang back in a monthly comic book. The series kicks off with new original stories seen here for the first time along with some of your favorite classic Peanuts Sundays strips.
