Ed Brubaker's got a pretty good handle on the whole noir thing. His latest looks at the feminine side of noir things in Fatale #1, a brand new series from Image Comics that blends noir and horror into a brand new epic.

A reporter in 2012 stumbles on a secret that leads him down the darkest path imaginable... to a seductive woman who's been on the run since 1935, a mobster who may be an immortal demon monster, and the stories of all the doomed men who've been caught in their decades-long struggle.

Fatale #1 is written by Brubaker and illustrated by Sean Phillips, with colors by Dave Stewart. It hits stores January 4 and interiors are available below.
