Valiant Entertainment Inks Distribution Deal

Valiant Entertainment was here for a while, then it disappeared. It had some great properties, but fans were left in something of a lurch when it stopped publishing because, well, they could get copies of Valiant properties. That's all about to change thanks to a new partnership with Diamond Book Distributors.

"It’s great to have Valiant and its enduring characters back in comic books again,” said Diamond Vice President of Purchasing Bill Schanes. “We couldn’t be more excited to help the company reconnect with retailers, as well as comic book fans, and grow their publishing business."

Valiant returns to the publishing ranks in 2012 with comic books featuring popular characters such as X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, Harbinger and numerous other bestselling properties. The full 2012 editorial schedule includes several new monthly comic book series, with new trade paperbacks and hardcovers planned for release later in the year.

"We are extremely excited to have Diamond carrying our full line of comic books and graphic novels to retailers worldwide,” said Valiant’s Chief Executive Officer Jason Kothari. ”Diamond’s reputation for being the leading distributor of comic books and pop culture merchandise is unmatched, and we’re thrilled and honored to have our new publishing line added to their client roster."
