I Told You So in April

There's nothing more frustrating than a know-it-all. Flaunting their knowledge in front of you all the time. Ready to pounce on any mistake you make to prove you're wrong. Does anyone like someone like that? BOOM! Studios and Shannon Wheeler sure hope so, what with Wheeler's work I Told You So making the collection rounds in April.

Admittedly, the 116-page collection of Wheeler's rejected New Yorker cartoons aren't so much proving other's wrong. They're mainly to prove the New Yorker wrong for cutting them. It's a collection of some of the "best-of-the-best-of-the-rest of what's left on the cutting room floor" from his submissions to the venerable periodical.

“If you couldn't get enough of I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE FUNNIER, you'll race to pick up this next collection of Wheeler's work,” says BOOM! Studios Founder and Chief Executive Officer Ross Richie. “We couldn't leave it with just one book. There were too many great cartoons left over that The New Yorker didn’t select.”
