Aspen Comics Launches New Fathom Series at C2E2

Another weekend, another convention. It's almost as if publishers want you to see their stuff and talk about it, which is always a good thing. This convention is C2E2 and the publisher is Aspen Comics. The thing they want you to talk about at the show April 13-15 is Fathom: Kiani.

At the Aspen booth (#511), Frank Mastromauro, Joe Benitez, Alex Konat and more surprise guests will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans. The publishers will also be offering a Fathom: Kiani #1 C2E2 exclusive cover by Michael Turner and Peter Steigerwald, limited to 500 copies. There will also be two additional new prints and prints of some of Aspen's other properties as well.

The Official Aspen Comics Panel will take place in room N426a from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, April 14th and will include Mastromauro, Benitez, Konat, Khary Randolph, Emilio Lopez and Franchesco. The Aspen team will reveal upcoming summer plans for new releases and answer questions directly from the fans. All panel attendees will receive a free gift courtesy of Aspen Comics.

This year’s C2E2 Comic and Entertainment Expo on April 13-15th will see the debut of Aspen Comics’ new series Fathom: Kiani and more at the Aspen Comics Booth #511. Aspen creators Frank Mastromauro (Shrugged, Soulfire), Joe Benitez (Lady Mechanika, Soulfire), Alex Konat (Fathom, Mindfield) and more surprise guests will be on hand at the Aspen Comics Booth all weekend long to meet fans, sign autographs and offer the latest convention exclusive comic books and art prints.

Aspen will be offering a special Fathom: Kiani #1 C2E2 exclusive cover featuring a never-before-seen cover by Aspen founder and Fathom creator Michael Turner with colors by superstar colorist Peter Steigerwald, limited to 500 copies. Michael Turner’s Fathom Kiani launches this April and C2E2 attendees will be able to get their exclusive copy of the first issue before it hits stores.

The Aspen Tour Print 2012 featuring art by Turner and Steigerwald will also be available at the Aspen Comics Booth along with two additional new art prints and other industry-leading prints of Aspen’s most popular covers and characters from titles such as Fathom, Soulfire, Lady Mechanika, Executive Assistant: Iris and more.
