Dynamite's The Shadow #1 Hits Second Printing

In order to have a shadow, you need a body. In order to have a second printing of The Shadow #1, you need to have a tight story and great art that--combined--are so popular that the first printing sells out. Dynamite has a little bit of it all at play, as The Shadow #1 is getting a second printing with a brand new cover by Francesco Francavilla.

"We want to thank the fans and publishers for supporting The Shadow #1! We also want to thank the creators - Garth Ennis and Aaron Campbell - for such a superb job with the series. It's gratifying to see fan and retailer support on such an iconic character on such an important launch for Dynamite!" states Dynamite Publisher Nick Barrucci.

In the first issue, it's 1938 and The Shadow returns, as a night of carnage on the New York waterfront plunges the vigilante into a conspiracy involving the fate of the world itself. Meanwhile, American Military Intelligence meets with Lamont Cranston, determined to beat a boat of spies and assassins to what some would consider a great prize.

On top of that, The Shadow #2 will feature covers by Alex Ross, Howard Chaykin, Ryan Sook, Jae Lee and John Cassaday.
