Preview - American Vampire: Lord of Nightmares #1

Vampires. They're everywhere. They were big a few years ago and their popularity waned slightly with the sudden surge of popularity in zombies. Vampires aren't going anywhere though and Vertigo is taking a look at the American incarnation of the bloodsucker in American Vampire: Lord of Nightmares #1.

The title is written by Scott Snyder and illustrated by Dustin Nguyen. In it, Agent Felicia Book has had a dark life, filled with tragedy, but she has finally found peace, raising her adoptive son, Gus. But when the Vassals return for help tracking the most powerful vampire of all time, she soon learns nothing can prepare her for the threat inside The Coffin.
