Ape Entertainment to Publish Poison Elves Series Under Mature Imprint

There are more characteristics of elves that make them deadly other than the usual archery prowess. Regardless of the means, an elf is a fascinating and potentially deadly adversary, whose race is steeped with stories. When it comes to Ape Entertainment, the publisher wants to tell stories of those Poison Elves.

The new series is a spin-off side story of "What If" that continues Drew Hayes' Poison Elves series, which ended with issue #79. The team behind the series includes the talents of those such as Darick Robertson, Terry Moore and Osvaldo Montpeller. There's also been research of the extensive notes Hayes left behind for the continuation of the series.

“Drew Hayes’ Poison Elves comic series was one of the biggest influences in my decision to become a comic book professional,” said David Hedgecock, CEO of Ape Entertainment. “This book is one small way for me to say ‘thank you’ to Mr. Hayes and to the legacy he left behind.”

Drew Hayes' Poison Elves hits comic store shelves on March 20. Full press release below.
