Dark Horse Announces 2013 Free Comic Book Day Offerings

Free Comic Book Day is a day of revelry, awesome sauce and free comics. And while Dark Horse isn't offering 2013 free comic books for Free Comic Book Day, they do have quite a variety of books for the big event on May 4, 2013.

Dark Horse will be offering up books featuring Darth Vader and Boba Fett, Captain Midnight, Avatar: The Last Airbender, R.I.P.D. and the True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, from Shaun Simon, Becky Cloonan and Gerard Way. Oh, and there's some action in Mass Effect, where a flight-school grad breaks the rules to prove himself in space.

On May 4th, make sure to do two things. Make sure the Fourth is With You and get your free comics on the day, headlined by some of the finest Dark Horse has to offer.

DECEMBER 6, MILWAUKIE, OR—What’s better than a trip to your local comic shop? Free copies of your favorite Dark Horse titles! In 2013, May the 4^th be with you for Free Comic Book Day. This promises to be Dark Horse’s biggest yet, with not one, but two free comics, each packed full with three separate stories.

In addition to new stories from your current Dark Horse favorites, Dark Horse will debut the long-awaited True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, from Shaun Simon, Becky Cloonan, and Gerard Way.

First up, an all-ages adventure! Star Wars joins fan-favorite villains Darth Vader and Boba Fett. Then explore the upcoming Dark Horse series Captain Midnight, where the search for the missing superhero is on. And the smash hit Avatar: The Last Airbender follows Mai as she deals with her broken heart . . .
