Hawken Prepares for Second Installment

How does 2,000 credits sound? Well, it would sound great if you knew exactly what they were for. How about 2,000 credits for the upcoming game Hawken? That sounds pretty appealing no?

Archaia, Meteor Entertainment and comiXology have teamed up to release the second of four free, exclusive digital preview issues of Hawken: Genesis. This exclusive preview is available across comiXology’s entire digital comics platform including the iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, and the Web. Whenever someone downloads the issue between now and January 1, they'll receive 2,000 in-game credits to use for upgrading their play experience.

“Cat and Mouse,” the second exclusive comiXology digital preview, is written by Jeremy Barlow from a concept by Khang Le and story by Dan Jevons. It's illustrated by Bagus Hutomo and can be accessed through comiXology via this link. (The first free preview can be found here).

The second installment arrives through comiXology Dec. 12, 2012 and features a code to redeem for 2,000 In-Game Credits for ‘HAWKEN’

Los Angeles, CA (Dec. 12, 2012) – Coinciding with the 12.12.12 (Dec. 12, 2012) start of the highly anticipated Open Beta Event for the online video game HAWKEN, award-winning graphic novel publisher Archaia Entertainment and free-to-play video game publisher Meteor Entertainment have teamed up with comiXology – the revolutionary digital comics platform – to digitally debut the second of four, free exclusive digital preview issues of HAWKEN: GENESIS, a forthcoming hardcover graphic novel based on the game. 

This exclusive preview is available across comiXology’s entire digital comics platform including the iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, and the Web. Any time someone downloads the free HAWKEN: GENESIS second preview on comiXology starting 12.12.12 and until 12 a.m. PT on Jan. 1, 2013, they will receive 2,000 in-game Credits that they can use to buy fun items, such as upgrades and accessories in HAWKEN. Fans who downloaded the first installment last month received guaranteed access to the game’s third closed beta event.
