ComixTribe Announces SCAMthology

Scams can be large or small, fast or slow. Sometimes, they're even a collection of other scams. That's exactly what SCAMthology is: a new project expanding Joe Mulvey's Scam universe, featuring top and up-and-coming comic talent telling thirteen new stories featuring super-powered conmen taking Vegas for all she's worth.

"Working on SCAM and getting it into so many readers' hands has been a dream come true," said Mulvey. "I'm lucky, grateful, and honored to having so many talented creators jumping into the SCAM universe."

The full roster of SCAMthology creators includes Joe Eisma, Ben McCool, Nick Pitarra, Paul Allor, Brian Shearer, Tyler James, Adam Masterman, Rich Douek, Daniel Logan, John Lees, Doug Hills, Aaron Houston, Kirk Manley, Josh Flanagan, Alex Diotto, Jonathan Rector, Jamie Gambell, Amy Chu, Nolan T. Jones, Steve Colle, Ryan K Lindsay, Alex Cormack, Steve Forbes and Daniel Picciotto.

"It was clear from the very first issue of SCAM that Joe wasn't just telling a story...he was creating a whole universe of characters," said ComixTribe publisher Tyler James, who is partnering up with Jonathan Rector (THE STANDARD) on a SCAMthology story. "Heists, superpowers and Vegas, baby, Vegas...who wouldn't want to play in that sandbox?"

The first four-issue Scam mini-series concludes this November with a double-sized final issue and SCAMthology will follow directly after. ComixTribe has created a special SCAMthology Tumblr Page that will feature frequent teasers and more details about the project over the next few months. SCAMthology is set to be released in early 2014.
