Archaia Announces Two Thrilling Adventure Hour Events

Archaia's Thrilling Adventure Hour hardcover continues to impress fans and readers alike. The collection of short stories that are literally (and figuratively) all over the map has been a bonafide success. Chance are though, you haven't really had a chance to meet the folks behind the book in Ben Acker and Ben Blacker. Well, Archaia would like to help you out there, offering the creators at two upcoming signing events.

On Monday, September 16, starting at 7 PM, the Barnes and Noble location at The Grove at Farmers Market in Los Angeles, California will host Acker and Blacker, along with performers Paul F. Tompkins, Joshua Malina, James Urbaniak, Marc Evan Jackson, Mark Gagliardi and more to be announced for a fun-filled, interactive panel and signing of the graphic novel. The event is free but a purchase of the book is required for autographs. Although The Thrilling Adventure Hour is sold out at the distribution level, this event will feature First Printing copies, while supplies last.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco, California will hold “The Thrilling Adventure Hour Graphic Novel Reception,” featuring Acker, Blacker, Marc Evan Jackson, Gagliardi and more additional cast members as they confirm. General Admission tickets are priced at $75 each and include entry into the event. VIP Admission is $150 and includes entry to the event plus a copy of a limited-edition The Thrilling Adventure Hour Graphic Novel Exhibition commemorative poster. Since June, the Cartoon Art Museum has been hosting an exhibit of some of the art featured in the graphic novel. This event starts at 7 PM to allow guests plenty of time to enjoy the museum, see the exhibit, and to meet the creators and members of the cast. Light food and drink will be provided. The Museum would like the event to be a celebration of the creativity of the creators, artists, and cast of The Thrilling Adventure Hour, as well as the success of the graphic novel.

The Thrilling Adventure Hour anthology graphic novel ($19.95, hardcover, 136 pages, full color, 7.25” x 11.25”) is a collection of original genre tales taken straight from the show. Written by Acker and Blacker, this book features new stories from the most fan-favored worlds of the TAH universe. Brought to life by top artists from the comics community, each stand-alone tale celebrates and reinvigorates a new genre from the radio comedies of yesteryear, including science fiction, fantasy, westerns, superheroes, horror, war dramas, and many more.
