Project Superpowers: Blackcross #1 Sells Out Ahead of Second Printing
Retailers can get behind a good thing and boy, have they gotten behind Dynamite Entertainment's Project Superpowers: Blackcross #1. It might help that it's written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Colton Worley, but still, selling out its entire first printing prior to the series launch says something positive about the book. To satisfy demand, Project Superpowers: Blackcross #1 will be made available to retailers with a second printing that features an all-new cover from artist Darick Robertson, featuring the fan-favorite character Black Terror.
"We're once again humbled by the support that our retail partners have given this title," says Dynamite CEO and Publisher Nick Barrucci. "It seems only fitting to pair Warren's latest comic outing with Darick Roberson, his partner on the mind-blowing Transmetropolitan series."
The second printing is now available for order by retailers who require additional copies of Blackcross #1, listed through Diamond Comic Distributors with the item code JAN158095. The first printing of Project Superpowers: Blackcross #1 celebrated its launch with a wide selection of variant covers illustrated by many of the industry's top talents, including Jae Lee, Tula Lotay, Declan Shalvey, Robert Howard and Gabriel Hardman. While these cover editions have sold out through Diamond Comic Distributors, fans should not worry, as retailers worldwide will have copies available on the launch date.
