Aspen Down Under

Aspen Comics is making a trip across the Pacific Ocean to attend two Supanova Pop Culture Expo shows two weekends in a row. The publisher will be setting up shop in Sydney from 19th to the 21st and Perth from June 26th to the 28th. What's even better for Aspen fans is that the debut issue of Aspen’s all-new Fathom title – the first in over 10 years – Fathom Blue #1, will feature two mirrored Michael Turner covers, one exclusive to Sydney and the other to Perth, plus a Supanova Expo exclusive by Giuseppe Cafaro that will be available at both conventions.

Guests will include Frank Mastromauro, Peter Steigerwald, Mark Roslan, Siya Oum and Cafaro. With them, the Aspen team will have four Supanova exclusive variants covers. There will be a Lola XOXO: Wasteland Madam #2 by series creator Oum, who will be available to sign throughout both weekends. Aspen will also have with them a selection of their industry-leading prints, including (but not limited to) full-size prints of the aforementioned exclusives: Lola XOXO: Wasteland Madam #2 by Oum, Fathom Blue #1 by Cafaro and one of the two Fathom Blue #1 Turner/Steigerwald mirrored covers, dependent on region.

As a Supanova Pop Culture Expo special, Aspen will have “Down Under Walkabout” tour t-shirts in a variety of sizes for attendees to purchase. Shirts will feature full-color art from a variety of Aspen artists, and will be exclusive to Supanova Sydney and Perth. Supanova and Aspen Comics are also teaming up for the Aspen Down Under Talent Search.
